About Us

Joann Charron

Hi I am Joann Charron, owner, operator and main piano instructor for Muses, Graces and Fates Performing Arts Academy.

You are reading this, so you must be a music lover too! My passion is not just music, but teaching piano. I love to see and hear students progress. It does not matter what age or at what level, I’m here for you. I promise you, it won’t be easy at times, but it can be one of your most rewarding endeavors!

I have been teaching piano for over 30 years. I received certification through Font Bonn College in St Louis Missouri. I also have a degree in psychology from Moravian College in Bethlehem Penna. I am a member of the Art Publication Society and Phi Beta Kappa.

In the past, I taught a Kindermusik Program for 10 years, involving children and their parents from infants up to and including children of the age of seven. I was also an active counselor for the Pocono Juvenile Music Study Club of the Stroudsburgs. It was the best fun, and I think I learned as much from the kids, as I hope, they did from me.

During this time, I created and directed monthly music programs for the children and for the community, a Music Petting Zoo Adventure for 3 of the local libraries summer programs, and presented a Math and Music program for the Agora Homeschool. For this, I did the majority of my own advertising, including a commercial with WSBG‘s Gary in the Morning.

I have performed at local colleges in various programs and on T.V. with students for Big Brother, Big Sister Telefon, and to date with our own students in recitals, either privately, at the Stroud Mall or for local charities and organizations.

I am a past president of The Stroudsburg Music Study Club, currently a counselor for The Monroe County Junior Musicians, a member of the Pocono Watercolor Society and a “wannabe” writer/member of The Pocono Writers.

As a certified CRL level III tutor and Morning Math Lab Assistant Manager for Northampton Community College, during the spring and fall semester I bounce between the Math Lab and the Learning Center as psychology tutor when needed. I am a busy girl, but it is all worth it and fun to me.

So If you have been putting off, dreaming or wishing to learn music, now’s the time to join in and “Awaken the Artist in You”!

Alexandra teaches guitar, voice, songwriting, and coaches pre-production for recording projects.

We are very happy to have Alexandra as part of the “crew”. She will definitely steer you to your goals matey!

Hello, Bethany Randall here!

Although I am the newest instructor at Muses, Graces and Fates, having recently graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in music composition from Wheaton College in 2015, I come well prepared and experienced. While at Wheaton, I also studied piano and conducting, and sang in the Concert Choir. Before college, as a student, I took part in adjudications with the National Federation of Music Study Clubs and the Pocono Arts Council. Currently I am the accompanist for the Cavalier Voices at JTL. In addition to music I also coach with the Pocono Family YMCA swim team. Go Piranhas!

Like the rest of the creative people I work with, I love reading, journaling, improvising, hiking and creating meals for my family. Whatever muse that inspires me at the time!

So come join the fun! Ah Music, it lasts a lifetime.

Jeffrey Lisk

Hello. My name is Jeffrey Lisk and I am the resident math nerd at Muses, Graces and Fates Performing Arts Academy. I attended Northampton Community College and received an Associate’s degree in Engineering Science. While attending Northampton our physics class competed in “The Last Fling Pumpkin Sling”. (Would you believe this is a worldwide event, we nerds compete in?!)We built a six-foot-tall trebuchet that chucked a four-pound pumpkin over 80 feet, placing us in first!

My professors at Northampton encouraged me to start tutoring and because of them, I have attained more than two years of tutoring experience. Everything from basic math to Calculus and more! I also tutored at East Stroudsburg High school for two semesters. I am continuing my education at Wilkes University for Mechanical Engineering, and will soon receive a second Associate’s degree in Math/Physics from Northampton. I enjoy tutoring, but more than anything, I enjoy encouraging students to fulfill their full potential. There is nothing more fulfilling then seeing students understanding something they never thought possible.

Regina DeCuzzi

I am so pleased to announce the upcoming arrival of Regina DeCuzzi!

We are anxiously awaiting her coming on November 16th.

Straight from New York with 20 years of teaching experience, Regina comes well equipped with vocal techniques for beginners to professional singers. Her techniques include healthy, safe ways to increase range and power and techniques to repair vocal problems.

Are you interested with the Classics or Opera? Then she is the instructor for you! She can help you in repertoire preparation in English, German, French Latin and (my personal favorite) Italian. Opera is not your thing? How about Rock, Jazz, Pop or Blues? She knows the essential skills for these genres and Broadway too!

How about Musical Theater? Need help with monologue preparation and role study? Then she’s your girl!

Regina believes each student is unique and comes with their own unique voice. Her aim is to identify the best aspects of your voice and give you the techniques that will allow your voice to grow, thrive and reach your highest potential. Sounds daunting? Then throw in some humor, energy and fun to meet her challenging instruction.

Ms. DeCuzzi studied advanced vocal techniques under teachers and coaches from The Metropolitan Opera, Leipzig Opera, The Julliard School, Spoletto Festival Fordham University and the Manhattan School of Music.

She has presented performances at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center and the National Catholic Cathedral in Washington D.C.

She also has an additional background in television production, writing and composing Musical Theater.

We already have a waiting list as we are patiencely awaiting her arrival in mid-November! Give a call! It’s best not to wait to get on her list today.

I will gladly contact you when she is settled and ready to start at Muses, Graces and Fates.
